Chapter 6: Jeckyll and Hyde Fan Fiction
Hyde made it out of the tunnel and kept running not stopping until he made it to the gates of the asylum.  He ran through the gates not bothering to close them on his way out. Hyde ran down the long winding road that leads to the asylum never looking back. As he was running over the hill he saw the lights of the town. Hyde paused for a moment to catch his breath and continued to run. Once he made it into the town everyone was looking at him like he was crazy, because he actually was. Hyde ran into a woman and looked at her with pleading eyes.
“I am so sorry ma’am, but do you have a place I could stay for the night?” Hyde asked worriedly
The young women didn’t ask any questions and just nodded her head quickly. The woman started running into the direction of her home with Hyde following closely behind her. She stopped in front of a wooden door and pushed it open forcefully. As Hyde came in behind her she shut the door and locked it.
“May I ask who you are or why you came running from the direction of the asylum?” She asked
“I’m sorry I didn’t properly introduce myself earlier, I am Mr. Hyde. I was admitted to Briarcliff because I was accused of killing that young girl. I know I didn’t do it because I would never do something like that, but of course once you are in an institution no one believes what you say.” Hyde replied with a sad tone
The women smiled showing she understood where Hyde was coming from. She walked into the kitchen and made Hyde a warm bowl of soup.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t understand why you are helping me? I’m not complaining, but after all I did tell you I escaped from a insane asylum.” Hyde said to the young mysterious woman
“My husband was admitted to Briarcliff 5 years ago for something he didn’t do, but they didn’t believe me or him. They only let me visit him once a year. The very last visit I ever made to him, he told me that he had found the tunnel that led underground through Briarcliff. He told me he was going to escape and come home, but that was over a year ago.” The women said with tears filling her eyes
“I am very sorry to hear that. No one deserves to be in that wretched place.” Hyde responded trying to have as much comfort in his voice as possible
She nodded and continued stirring the steaming soup. She looked over at Hyde and said something he would never forget.

“My name is Jane Jeckyll by the way.”

Chapter 5: Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde Fan Fiction
As they were running away from the horrid asylum, something stopped Hyde from running. He slowly turned around and realized that Jeckyll was gone. Hyde was so confused because Jeckyll had been right behind him the whole time. As much as Hyde didn’t want to, he started walking back towards the gate. Looking through the metal bars he saw Briarcliff.
He never wanted to step onto the property of the asylum ever again, but his friend had helped him escape and he knew he had to go back for them. As he ran back to the institution screaming his friend’s name he went around to where they came out of the tunnel. He stood at the entrance of the tunnel for a long time just staring at it, knowing once he goes back in he may not ever come out.
He walked through it saying Jeckyll’s name quietly over and over again. He came across the door that led into the hallway of the asylum and as much as he wanted to turn around and run, he opened the door. He saw the cold metal doors and the terrible smell of the Briarcliff institution. The sirens wailed throughout the asylum signaling a patient has escaped.
Hyde knew everyone was looking for him and it would be very difficult to get around all the patients and employees. As Hyde was slowly creeping down the hallway someone tapped him on the shoulder and he spun around with a yell. Jeckyll was standing there just waving at Hyde. Hyde was confused as to why Jeckyll was being so calm.

Hyde grabbed him by the arm and started dragging him to the door that led to the tunnel. Jeckyll go out of Hyde’s grip and just shook his head. At this point, Hyde had no idea why Jeckyll had ran back into the asylum or why he wouldn’t go with him into the tunnel. As Hyde was trying to persuade him to go with him, he heard the footsteps of a familiar person. Mr. Utterson turned the corner and Hyde was face to face with him. Hyde turned and ran back through the tunnel faster than he ever thought he could run.

Chapter 4: Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde Fan Fiction
As Hyde was running towards the light he looked behind him and realized Jeckyll was nowhere to be found. He didn’t think much of it and kept running, the only thing on his mind at the moment was escape. As he was running out of the tunnel and headed to his escape, his eyes opened. Hyde had realized he was dreaming the whole time.
As he set up on his bed a tray of food was slid into the room. Hyde walked over and looked at the food. It was stale and smelled that it had been expired for years. He put the food down and crawled back into bed. Many thought flooded into his mind. Thoughts like who was Jeckyll, is the tunnel real, was that where the tunnel actually was? He wanted to find out all of these answers.
As the supervisor let him out of his room to go to the gathering area with the rest of the patients on his floor, he snuck away from the group. Hyde wanted to see if the tunnel was really where the mysterious Jeckyll told him it was. As he was coming upon the door he saw it was slightly cracked open. He pushed it open and to his amazement the tunnel was real. As he was wondering through the tunnel he heard a voice that sounded familiar. He turned around and saw Jeckyll. Hyde was confused why he was seeing Jeckyll because the last time he had saw them was in a dream.

He kept walking through the tunnel and pushed open the small door leading out. As he pushed it open he saw the outdoors. Hyde saw trees, the sun, grass, and flowers. He had been locked up in the asylum for months now and to finally see what the feel of grass was like again. Jeckyll was standing right there with him smiling and jumping around, but not saying a word. The two boys started running so they wouldn’t get caught. They ran until they saw the front entrance of Briarcliff. The guard that was usually standing at the gate was not there today. Hyde couldn’t help but think that this was pure luck him and his friend Jeckyll were experiencing. They pushed open the gate and ran through slamming it shut behind them not wanting to ever see Briarcliff again.
Chapter 3: Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde Fan Fiction
Mr. Hyde awoke in the night to the sound of someone tapping on his door. He got out of his bed and peeked out of the medal bars. He saw another mental patient standing there with the keys to unlock his door. The patient inserted the keys and let Hyde out of his room. Hyde had never seen this person around the asylum.
“My name is Mr. Jeckyll.” The strange patient said to Hyde with a kind and soft voice
“Nice to meet you my name is Hyde.” Hyde responded
The patient just nodded and smiled not saying another word to Hyde. He walked down the hall and was out of sight leaving Hyde alone in the dark cold hallway of Briarcliff. Hyde was very confused as to what had just occurred. He had begun to travel down the hallway in search of a way out. It was around 3:00 in the morning and if he didn’t find the underground tunnel quick, he would have to find a place to hide.
As Hyde was wondering the institution he heard footsteps like someone was following him, but every time he would turn around there would be no one there. Hyde began to become frightened by the unknown footsteps and started to run. As he was running he was watching behind him and before he knew it he had ran into something or someone. He looked up with blurry vision and saw Jeckyll standing there. Jeckyll didn’t speak; he helped Hyde up and motioned for Hyde to follow him.
Hyde followed Jeckyll for about 5 minutes and thought it was strange that none of the workers had stopped them or even see them. They kept wandering until he stopped in front of a metal door. It appeared to be just like any old patient’s room, but as Jeckyll pushed open the door Hyde saw that it was the tunnel. Mr. Utterson must have made the door look like all the other metal doors, but it was not like all the other doors at all.
Hyde began to walk forward into the tunnel as Jeckyll followed behind. Hyde didn’t as Jeckyll any questions about the key, who he was, or most importantly how he found the tunnel. As the two of them began to get deeper and deeper into the tunnel, Hyde saw a bright light up ahead. He figured it was almost daylight, so he ran towards the gleaming light in front of him.
